Why Love?

One of the biggest questions I get about my work is why do my books center on love. Why not love? Shakespeare once wrote, "The course of true love never did run smooth." Falling in love, being in love, failing in love, and being disappointed in love are all universal experiences for people. No matter the race, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality we can all relate to love. It is one of the most complex experiences of human life. In the stories I craft, I like to look at love from all angles. We all search for our one true love. In that search, we often find turmoil, hurt, and disappointments. Once the lust fades, and real love deals with temptation and conflict, we find that love is not all peaches and cream. Love will always be one of the major themes of all my works. It is an incredible experience that deserves to be explored.
