The tale of Nya I'm sure is one of many women, unfortunately. It tore my heart as a reader to read the vile and despicable things that Adam did. The entire book you truly felt closed in and cut off from the world the same as Nya was. I'm positive this book will help so many other women who are in dire straits with domestic abuse. I would have liked to read more about the childrens' mindset going through this terror, if my heart could take it. Excellent job of the author to tackle this issue and not be afraid to dive completely into the life of the abused.

This book was amazing. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's most definitely a page turner. I read the entire book in one day I can't wait to read more from this author.
